The Bittersweet Finale: Lessons from a Trading Tournament Journey

Final Results
The competition has finally concluded, and I finished in the 40s. While I didn’t make the top 25 to earn an official ranking, I gained tremendous knowledge throughout this journey – and for that, I’m truly grateful.

Looking Back: Achievements & Regrets

1. The Satisfactions

⦁ Developed profitable strategies for every single round

⦁ Meticulously documented my thought process in writing

⦁ Found that articulating my ideas often sparked new insights

⦁ Could tangibly feel my skills improving round after round

2. The Regrets
A) Orchids Mysteries Left Unsolved

⦁ Never fully cracked how to utilize humidity and sunlight data

⦁ Couldn’t reverse-engineer the top team’s alpha that generated their extraordinary Orchids profits

B) Coconut Coupon Enigma

⦁ The winning team’s million-point lead in this round remained unexplained

⦁ Second-place Linear Utility seemed to discover this edge late (evident in their spike)

⦁ This strategic gap ultimately separated the podium finishers

Closing Thoughts
Perhaps this is simply how life works – we march forward on paths paved with both triumph and unanswered questions.

To all the friends I’ve made: Until we meet again!
